WCSF CharitySpirit Foundation proudly participated in an Orientation Workshop on 19 March 2026, organized under a project of the Department of Science & Technology, Government of India, at the ICAR – Eastern Research Complex, Jharkhand. The program served as a significant platform for enhancing farmers’ knowledge and promoting sustainable agricultural practices.

As part of this initiative, WCSF CharitySpirit Foundation ensured the active participation of 180 farmers from Karra Block of Khunti District and nearby rural areas. The organization played a crucial role in mobilizing farmers, raising awareness, and facilitating their participation in the workshop.

During the session, agricultural scientists and experts provided detailed insights on need-based agricultural technologies, modern farming techniques, organic farming practices, use of improved seeds, crop management, and effective strategies to enhance farmers’ income. Farmers were encouraged to adopt scientific approaches to make agriculture more productive, profitable, and sustainable.

The workshop proved to be an important learning platform where farmers not only gained new knowledge but also shared their experiences and challenges. Such interactions helped in building confidence among farmers and motivated them to adopt innovative practices in their fields.
