In line with its mission to promote community-led development and sustainable livelihoods, WCSF CharitySpirit Foundation conducted a local recruitment and interview drive at its Karra Block branch office. The initiative was designed to ensure that employment opportunities reach people at the grassroots, enabling them to work within their own communities and contribute directly to local development.

The interview process saw the participation of 30 candidates from nearby areas. Each applicant was carefully evaluated through structured interactions that focused on their educational background, work experience, communication skills, and commitment to community service. As a result of this process, candidates were selected for multiple grassroots-level roles, including Block Coordinator (2), Tailoring Teacher (1), Panchayat Mahila Mitra (25), and Salesman (4). These positions play a vital role in strengthening program outreach and ensuring effective implementation at the village and block levels.

The interviews were conducted by an experienced Interview Board consisting of Ms. Priyanka Kumari, Ms. Jayshinta Guriya, and Ms. Ailne Guriya, who ensured that the selection process remained transparent, inclusive, and merit-based. Alongside the interviews, candidates were introduced to the Foundation’s vision, values, and expectations, helping them clearly understand their responsibilities and the social impact of their roles.

This recruitment drive highlights WCSF CharitySpirit Foundation’s belief that meaningful social change is driven by empowered local actors. By prioritizing local hiring and creating dignified employment within the community, the Foundation continues to build strong grassroots leadership, support women’s participation in the workforce, and advance long-term, sustainable development in rural and underserved regions.
